Answer the following

A child was operated for posttraumatic SDH and was being ventilated in the ICU. On the 4th postoperative day he deteriorated with altered mentation, and severe respiratory distress. His saturation dropped even in presence of 100% O2 supplementation. On auscultation air entry was absent on left side. Based on the following chest X-ray the most emergent management you would prescribe is ?
A. Rapid arterial blood gas analysis with subsequent correction
B. Removal of the Endotracheal tube and re-insertion after suctioning.
C. Immediate ICD insertion on left side
D. Needle puncture of left hemithorax
